GoSync Android v1.1.6 is here! In addition to optimizing data synchronization for improved stability, we have integrated Health Connect as a new fitness platform. Once you connect your wearable device to Health Connect, you can seamlessly sync and manage your health data and activity records (Running, Swimming, Cycling, and Walking) all in one place! Here is a step-by-step guide on how to link Health Connect.

1. Download and Install Health Connect

If Health Connect is not yet installed on your phone, you can download and install it directly from the Google Play Store.

2. Connecting Your Wearable Device to Health Connect

1）Step 1: Update your GoSync Android app to v1.1.6. Open the app, tap “Connect”, and select the brand of the wearable device you wish to connect.

Note: For instructions on how to authorize GoSync to access your wearable device data, please refer to article "How to use GoSync?".

2）Step 2: Choose Health Connect as your fitness platform → Tap “Agree and Continue” → Toggle on “Allow all” on the Health Connect authorization page → Tap “Allow” in the bottom right corner → Return to GoSync and tap “Connect”.

3) Step 3: View connection details. Open the GoSync app and tap your active connection to see the number of activity records successfully synced to Health Connect. If you have unsynced activity records or health data, you can tap “Manual sync”.

3. Viewing and Managing Synced Data in Health Connect

1）Step 1: Open the Health Connect app. If you cannot find the app icon on your phone, you can open it by tapping the icon in the top right corner of the GoSync connection details page.

2）Step 2: In Health Connect, tap “Data and access” → Select the data category you wish to view → You will see the detailed log of your synced data.

Friendly reminders:

1) Health Connect currently only displays data synchronization logs and does not generate data charts or graphs. If you prefer a visual breakdown, you can authorize Google Fit within Health Connect. This allows you to view all your activity records and health data synced from GoSync directly inside Google Fit!

2) Data synchronization may take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours to reflect. Please be patient while your data syncs.

3) If you encounter a sync error notification, go to Health Connect to revoke GoSync's permissions, then return to the GoSync app to reconnect.
